ESD Ceramics (Conductive Ceramics)
Conductive ceramics are advanced ceramic materials with antistatic properties that effectively dissipate or reduce static charge accumulation, making them ideal for electrostatic-sensitive environments. Their unique conductive mechanism controls the buildup of electrostatic charges, preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD). Unlike conventional antistatic coatings, conductive ceramics provide permanent antistatic performance without requiring surface coating. Their electrical resistance can also be tailored to meet different application requirements.
Surface resistivity can also be controlled to below 10³ Ω/sq, within the range of 10⁶–10⁹ Ω/sq, or up to 10¹⁰ Ω/sq, depending on application requirements.
